Privacy Notice

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Purple Teams is operated by Be Purple Consulting SRL, Belgian company number 0793 598 867. Be Purple Consulting SRL is an independent consultancy. This website is not operated by BELBIN Limited.

Be Purple Consulting SRL is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

For any privacy-related question or request, contact:

teams@bepurpleconsulting.eu

When you contact us through the website, we may collect your first and family name, organisation, role or function, work email address, preferred language, the information you provide about your request, and your acknowledgement that you have read this Privacy Notice.

Our hosting infrastructure may also process limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the website, such as IP addresses, browser information and server logs.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information in the free-text enquiry field unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.

We use the information you provide to:

  • respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about the services you are considering;
  • take steps at your request before entering into a possible service agreement;
  • understand your organisation’s needs and identify an appropriate form of support; and
  • operate, protect and troubleshoot the website and its contact functionality.

Where your enquiry concerns a potential service engagement, processing may be necessary to take pre-contractual steps at your request. For other professional enquiries and the secure operation of the website, processing is based on Be Purple Consulting SRL’s legitimate interest in responding to genuine enquiries and operating its services securely. These are recognised legal bases under Article 6 GDPR.

We do not use information submitted through this form for unrelated direct marketing unless you are separately informed and an appropriate legal basis applies.

Access is limited to persons who need the information to respond to or manage your request.

Where necessary, relevant information may also be shared with:

  • technical providers supporting the website, hosting and email infrastructure, including OVHcloud;
  • Belbin Accredited consultants supporting the requested service, where appropriate; and
  • professional advisers or public authorities where disclosure is legally required.

Where a service involves an accredited consultant based in the United Kingdom, relevant information may be shared with that consultant only where necessary. The United Kingdom currently benefits from an EU adequacy decision for GDPR transfers, renewed by the European Commission in December 2025.

For general enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship, we propose to retain correspondence for up to 12 months after the last substantive exchange, unless there is a legitimate reason to retain it for longer.

If your enquiry develops into a contractual relationship, relevant information may become part of the client file and may be retained for longer where necessary for the provision of services, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Technical logs are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for website operation, security and troubleshooting, taking account of the settings and retention practices of our hosting provider.

Fields marked with an asterisk in the contact form are required so that we can identify your enquiry and respond to you. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to process your request.

Other fields are optional.

Subject to the conditions provided by the GDPR, you may ask us to access personal data concerning you, correct inaccurate data, erase data, restrict certain processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive applicable data in a portable format.

You can exercise your rights by contacting teams@bepurpleconsultancy.eu. We may request reasonable information where necessary to verify your identity.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority / Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit. These rights and the right to complain are expressly recognised under the GDPR.

We do not use information submitted through the Purple Teams contact form to make decisions based solely on automated processing or profiling.

At present, the contact form is used to send your enquiry by email to Purple Teams. Contact Form 7 itself does not store submitted messages in the WordPress database unless an additional message-storage tool such as Flamingo is installed (quod non).

This notice concerns personal data collected through the Purple Teams (bepurpleconsultancy.eu) website and enquiry process.

Where you subsequently participate in a Belbin assessment, receive a Belbin report or enter into a client engagement, additional privacy information may apply to the processing associated with those services.

We may update this Privacy Notice if our website, services or data-processing practices change. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
